Great tips! Its an irony that most users are not aware of the system utility tools which are included for tasks like drive maintenance. some complain of lags and freezes when they have not run a disk cleanup or checked fragmentation for months or years on end! Its like complaining about diseases when you do nothing to build immunity. The HDD is probably the most important component to speed and if its piled with junk and fragmented, performance will definitely be affected.
