“Ratings” added to Blogger (?)

May 9th, 2008 Ashutosh Mishra

I was making some page modifications when I came across this new Ratings feature under Page Elements > Blog Post > Edit.

I hadn’t seen this before; so is this a new feature or has it been there for sometime now? I can’t get it to work on my blog as I use a third party template which doesn’t support a lot of other options as well (like sharing by mail or showing ads between posts). If anyone is using a default Blogger template and has got this rating enabled, please leave a comment here with a link to your blog so that I can check out how good is this. :)

i too have got that option just 5 days before but it was not working for my blog too :(

But when i rechecked this option after reading your posts, i just gone now, i mean no such option is present thereby :(

May be they were just testing the feature to let it be out or may be just another Google bug, LOL ;)

It’s still there in my settings. I actually Googled this that day and it turns out to be an experimental Blogger feature. No use to me though…:(

Btw, what say about the glassy effect on my blog? Thanks for tipping me off on this!

Here what i get from blogger about this post
    http://blogger-status.blogspot.com/2008/05/some-users-may-be-seeing-star-ratings.html

@ Your Blog: Hey, the glassy effect is good but you really need to optimize your blog, i wouldn’t say anything wrong but your blog is just looking ugly for a moment, you must remove the glassy background from Date Header and try to increase padding size between the sidebar header background and text, so the header text will not touch to the outer color. :) Go improve it as fast as you can

This is a bit too much geeky for me…can you explain in pure normal humanistic English?
