Hey, lets tune up your PC!
IZArc is back in development
Free file archiving utility IZArc, one of our favorites, is back under development after staying dormant for almost two years. The developer Ivan Zahariev has released a beta of IZArc 4.0, which improves support for 7-zip format, adds a few useful features, uses ClearType rendering in Vista, and squashes some age old bugs of IZArc 3.81. IZArc has always been one of the most solid file archivers out there, with support for over 60 formats, and an array of useful features.
The beta is quite usable on my system, and one small bug (regarding file association) that appeared after installation was automatically fixed after a reboot.
If you’re keen to try IZArc out, grab the beta here.
