Some websites allow you to sign in to your accounts and go online from your browser itself, without having to download any instant messenging software. This is especially useful when you are using someone else’ computer, or when you are using an operating system other than Windows. I have listed down some such sites here, you can visit and explore them yourselves!
Meebo
Meebo allows you to sign in to your AIM, Yahoo!, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber and MSN (Windows Live) accounts all-in-one right from your browser. Once you have signed in, you can interact with your online friends in a LOT of ways – chatting, video calls, voice chats, playing games and much more! You can also create your own free Meebo account which will allow you to automatically sign in to your AIM, Yahoo!, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber and MSN accounts, and to customise your Meebo page.

Yahoo! Web Messenger
Yahoo! offers in-browser instant messenging facility for your Yahoo! account with it’s Yahoo! Web Messenger feature. Only some basic features like instant messenging and sending mails are allowed.

FlickIM
FlickIM also allows you to sign in to your Yahoo!, Google Talk, AIM, MSN, Jabber and ICQ accounts. It’s very much like Meebo and has nearly the same features to offer. It’s just a matter of choice on which one you prefer.

Gmail
As you must already be knowing, you can chat with your Google Talk friends directly from your Gmail account.

Yahoo! Mail
The new Yahoo! Mail (NOT Yahoo! Mail Classic) allows you to chat with your Yahoo! friends, just like Gmail. If you are still using Yahoo! Mail Classic, you can easily switch over to the new Yahoo! Mail :
1.Go to Yahoo! Mail and sign in to your account.
2.At the top right corner, look for ‘Options’.
3.Click on it and then select this notification: The new Yahoo! Mail has arrived. Try it now!
That’s all!
