CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Disc Burners

As the name suggests, CD/DVD burning software are required to write (or burn) any type of data into recordable CDs and DVDs. Some of the burners mentioned here also provide support for Blu-Ray discs (marked as *).

any chance you have a rating for those? which one would you recommed?
For all normal CD/DVD burning, I will recommend BurnAware – it’s very light and a has a good interface. For more extensive features, you should choose StarBurn or CD Burner XP.
I would suggest Nero as the program with easiest user interface, but with many options, and disc formats supported. Unfortunately, Nero is not cheap program(about 70USD). Nero also have free version, but it is very basic version, and I am not sure if it have support for blu-ray.
