As far as aversion to change is concerned, Ubuntu LL should have a spruced up Gnome panel. But yeah, those password prompts can be annoying. Whay do I need admin priviledges to mount my NTFS partitions? They need to come up with permanent priviledges for basic tasks like mounting. Once given to an user account, it stays with it (even after restart). I think the 6 months release cycle is a good thing since Ubuntu is a free software.
